See what our guests are saying about Bonaventure Bed & Breakfast

We recently moved to Calgary and stayed with Bruce and Pat for a week and a half. Our stay was very comfortable, lovely room, awesome breakfast and very warm hosts!

Spent 3 lovely nights at Bonaventure Bed and Breakfast in Calgary. Hosts Pat and Bruce have a beautiful home near Lake Bonaventure and their B&B is near a train station, restaurants and a large shopping center. Because we had arranged a tour on the first morning of our stay, Pat accommodated us by having a continental breakfast awaiting us in the a.m.; on two remaining mornings we enjoyed a hot delicious breakfast.
Pat and Bruce were entrtaining and interesting to listen to. Bruce has a background in education as does one in our group so the sharing of information was enjoyable as well as entertaining!!
If we ever get back to Calgary, we will certainly look up Bonaventure Bed and Breakfast again.
Pat and Bruce also recommended we attend nearby Heritage Park Historical Museum which we did on our last day in Calgary and must say we spent the entire day there and enjoyed it very much.

This is the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Pat and Bruce are charming and welcoming, We went to Canada for the amazing hiking so we had a lot of gear. Pat and Bruce were helpful and had great suggestions to make our stay easier. Their home is beautiful in a lovely peaceful part of the city with great links to the airport and city’ The house is modern and light with no clutter or chintz. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were delicious. This is the benchmark for other B&Bs to reach - it is a treasure.

We had such a fabulous time at Bonaventure Bed and Breakfast. Bruce and Pat, the owners are now great friends. They were so kind and very helpful. Everything was perfect. The breakfasts were fantastic every morning and different. The breakfast conversation was something we looked forward to. We’ll be back!

In last-minute planning to find an affordable and quiet place to stay in Calgary, Alberta, I found this gem of a place, south of downtown in a quiet residential neighborhood. It was close to shopping and the highway. The room we stayed was comfortable and quiet. We were provided with all the basics, nice towels, bottled water, and a very nice hot breakfast. We were able to use a lounging room that provided more space and use of a second TV, couch, mini fridge (good for storing leftovers from a restaurant), microwave, tea kettle, guide books, and maps of Calgary. Our hosts, Pat & Bruce, were very kind and polite, their home was spotless, and we enjoyed chatting with them over breakfast. Booking the reservation was fairly easy considering it was last minute. Next time we are in Calgary, we will stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights at this B & B....it was excellent. It was spotless, the breakfasts were varied and you had a choice between hot and cold. Bruce and Pat are wonderful people and very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast conversations with them. Too they were very helpful with respect to providing information about the area. We highly recommend this B & B and will stay there on our next trip to Calgary.
